Sioux Buffalo Cap Medicine Staff
The Buffalo Staff is yet another big medicine piece of Sioux culture. Used in many ceremonies and dance indigenous to this way of life. The cap is filled with pebbles which are rattled to alert spirits and participants that medicine is being practiced. The staff is adorned with hawk bells, wolf fur, stone beads, hand-beading, glass and metal trade beads, trade cloth and ermine skins to show high ranking within the tribe. Approximately 36 inches long. All Medicine Sticks are custom made and signed by ThreeFeathers.
