Dreamer Fan
The "Elk Dreamer" held a high position in the tribe. Through visions and sweat lodge he was able to locate herds of elk for the hunt. The Elk Dreamer possessed the power to match young men and women by touching them with the fan during ceremonial dance. The fan is adorned with "imitation" eagle feathers and fluff, painted spots, beading and rawhide. A medicine bundle identifies the fan as belonging to the Elk Dreamer. Brass hawk bells would let others know he was practicing his medicine. All fans are custom made and signed by ThreeFeathers.
